LO5 (P5) Exporting images

Image
This is evidence of how I have managed to organise my images into specific folders to store them in an organised and easy manner. From doing this it allows me to keep track of my images safer and easier and it means they are easier to access and to monitor. I have organised my images due to their locations for I have taken my images in similar locations meaning I can group them together to be put into one folder if they are in the same location.

Metadata is a set of data  that describes information and give information about other data, metadata is important because it means that people can resume, store and preserve data to use a further time. Metadata makes finding out information easier and faster for people to do. Metadata includes information such as the creators name, file size, file type and file moderated information, this specific information is useful for different things.  EXIF data- is the technical terms for details of images such as equipment used to capture an image and the certain settings that where used at the time such as shutter speed and aperture.  IPTC data- is when the data is focused on the content of the image and what is captured and the rights and licensing that the image has and the ownerships, this also is categorised to be the status that the image has.  metadata images from Lightroom

This screenshot is evidence of me rating my photographs to the photographs which are suitable that I can use to edit and improve. This screenshot also evidences me sorting the photographs into appropriate folders of locations, this helps with organisation and keeping everything neat and professional.  This further allows me to narrow down my images to the top 10 images that I would like to edit, I have done this through rating them 1-5 stars, this will make it easier because I can further filter the images to the 5 star rated images.  Edited images   Before editing   Evidence of editing techniques used
