LO4 (M4) metadata
Metadata is a set of data that describes information and give information about other data, metadata is important because it means that people can resume, store and preserve data to use a further time. Metadata makes finding out information easier and faster for people to do. Metadata includes information such as the creators name, file size, file type and file moderated information, this specific information is useful for different things.
EXIF data- is the technical terms for details of images such as equipment used to capture an image and the certain settings that where used at the time such as shutter speed and aperture.
IPTC data- is when the data is focused on the content of the image and what is captured and the rights and licensing that the image has and the ownerships, this also is categorised to be the status that the image has.
